1997 Women's All-Ivy League
Harvard's Naomi Miller became the third Crimson
player in League history to be honored as the Ivy Player of the Year. Miller who was
selected to the All-Ivy first team for the third time in her career, finished the season
as the leading scorer in League play with 14 points (4g, 6a), and tied for the top spot in
overall scoring with 23 points (6g, 11a). The Ivy assist leader, Miller is on track to
become the 11th player to be named to the first team four times. Miller, the 1995 Ivy
Rookie of the Year, extended to three the number of consecutive years a Crimson player has
won the League's top player award.
Miller's teammate Gina Foster was the only unanimous selection this year.
Foster anchored the Harvard defense, while contributing three game-winning goals in Ivy

Bingham rounded out the first team Crimson crew. Bingham has notched three goals
