Will Hench has been elected to the 1997 All-Ivy Team (Second Team).  He was the team's second leading scorer, finishing  the year with 5 goals and 3 assists (13 points). Hench started all 17 games in the midfield for the Crimson. Hench should pick up where he left off last year, playing the midfield aggressively and creatively. He was named Ivy Rookie of the Week after he scored two goals against Yale last year. Hench is a graduate of Phillips Academy in Andover, where he was captain of his team, earning All America and All New England honors. His team was New England Prep School Champions in 1994 and 1995. His club team, Boston Eagles, made it to the national finals. He was a member of State and U S Regional Development teams.
