In the first game of the day at the Dartmouth Kappa Tounrnament, Harvard and Boston University battled to a double-overtime, 2-2 tie.

Harvard (1-1-1) got the scoreboard first as Mike Cornish drilled a shot by Boston University keeper Michael Cardenas 54 seconds into the match. The  Crimson jumped ahead 2-0 when Ladd Fritz converted on a cross and feed from Wells Mangrum and Ryan Kelley at 14:21.

Harvard held a 2-0 advantage at intermission.

In the second half, Boston University (3-2-1) quickly cut the deficit in half as Joachim Kaland tallied from Karl Ruegemer at 46:10.  Just over five minutes later; BU's Kirk Miller knotted the game at 2-2 when his shot got past Crimson goalie Dan Mejias at 51:15.

The two teams battled for the final 79 minutes ending in the 2-2 tie. BU's Michael Cardenas had nine saves for the Terriers and Harvard's Dan Mejias stopped six Crimson attempts.
