McCarthy played in nine games during the 1997 season, a sweeper with great ability to serve the long ball. Plays for the Fury, one of the top club teams in the country, which was a National Final Four participant this past summer. High School: Captain and MVP of Boulder High soccer squad as a junior and senior. Member of Colorado State team in 1995 & 1996.
