Captain | Senior Forward 5-10, 165 Harleysville, PA LaSalle College Economics Tom McLaughlin was named the Ivy League Player of the Year, and finished the 1997 season as the league's leading scorer for the second straight year. He was also chosen unanimously to the First All-Ivy Team. The Crimson's team captain was by far the Ivy League's leading scorer in 1996, finishing the season with 41 point. Along with 13 goals he also set a 27-year old Harvard season record with 15 assists. As a result, he was a unanimous All Ivy selection, Regional All America, and Academic All America. In 1996, McLaughlin was Second Team All-Ivy. In high school he was named twice to the First Team All-Catholic and All-Southeastern Penn teams. Was league MVP in 1994. His team was league champion in 1994. |
