Jay Saunders, in his eighth year, came to Harvard from Boston College, where he was an assistant coach for two seasons. A 1964 graduate of Springfield College, Saunders is a Regional Administrator for the Olympic Development Program, in addition to serving as Director of Mental Skills Training for Soccerplus Goalkeeper School.

An active youth soccer coach for several years, Saunders is on the Advisory Council for Massachusetts Special Olympics.
